Problem is I'm a teacher and have no experience except screwing around with an old 8mm when I was a kid. We have a Sony HandyCam Vision ccd-trv57 (with an Hi8 MP tape) - I don't even know what that means except I can zoom in real close! You get the idea that I'm a novice. I was wondering if you were me, what software/hardware do I need to convert the tape format to digital AND what program would you get to create the voice overs and effects. Hi Scott,
